MIGHTY MAMAS TALK KIDS BOOK FAVORITES

I'm excited this week to read about our Mighty Mamas chatting about kids' books - there are so many good ones!  Hmm, let's get started!

We asked our Mighty Mamas to share their thoughts and here is what they said.

WHAT IS YOUR CURRENT FAVORITE CHILDREN'S BOOK?

"I recently got a book called "Muddle and Match" for my daughter. I love to read it to her because you can change the characters outfits and stories around to make completely different ones! There are so many combinations that it's always a new story, so it keeps me entertained as well as her!"

Brooke, Mom to one, Nurse and Stay at Home Mom

"If You Give a Mouse a Cookie is my favorite, but my son is loving the Captain Underpants series."

Sara, Mom to two, Writer and Educator

"Anything from Nancy Tillman is a favorite. Her words are perfect. Wherever You Go: My Love Will Find You and I'd Know You Anywhere, My Love are my favorites. "

Angela, Mom to three, Stay at Home Mom and Blogger

""The Jesus Storybook Bible" We read it every night before the kids go to bed. I just love how it teaches them the Bible stories!"

Brittany, Mom to two, Missionary

"Little Blue Truck by Alice Schertle"

Sheila, Mom to one, CPA and Fitness Coach

"Tight call between Rainbow Fish - The Most Beautiful Fish in the Ocean and a book by Dick Bruna called "Cat Nel" (translated from Dutch, not sure it exists in English). It was my favourite when I was a kid and my mom gave it to me again when Lucas was born."

Tineke, Mom to one, Project Manager

MIGHTY MAMAS TALK ABOUT THEIR DREAM DAY

MIGHTY MAMAS TALK ABOUT THEIR DREAM DAY

Let's dream for a minute.  Forget about what you need to do and think only of the things you want to do.  You have the day to spend any way you choose.  Snuggles, spa, sleep, exotic lands, close friends, family, a book, anything you can think of.  How would your dream day go?  Mine would probably include family, friends, horses, and mountains.  And chocolate.  Because chocolate.

MIGHTY MAMAS DISCUSS HOW THEY'VE NURTURED RELATIONSHIPS POST-KIDS

Before motherhood, I imagined that my life after kids would be mostly the same, but with kids. I didn't know how having kids would completely shift the center of my life, so that spending fun time with friends, family, and my husband would change from something central to something on the periphery.

We asked our Mighty Mamas to share their thoughts and here is what they said.

AFTER BECOMING A MOTHER, DID YOU CONTINUE TO NURTURE YOUR RELATIONSHIPS (WITH FRIENDS OR LOVED ONES)?  IF SO, HOW?
