Fall is a time that brings thoughts of pumpkin everything, cooler weather, and a new color palette.  We were curious about what the littles are up to in this weather ... what activities make the season.

We asked our Mighty Mamas to share their thoughts and here is what they said.

"I love this question! Here in my town, we have a place called Gritt's Farm. In the fall, they open their farm to the town. They have a pumpkin patch to pick and buy from, a farmer's market, tricycle riding, hay rides, apple shooting, corn mazes, and a huge playground! They also have goats to pet, a family dog who runs around the farm, and lots of food options. Their slide races are fun for the whole family as well! It's really a family experience that I look forward to every year."

"Going on scavenger hunts outside and crunching the dry leaves- it's one of my favorite sounds. I love getting out of the house with the kids and enjoying nature together."

Sara, Mom to two, Writer and Educator

"My in-laws farm a small pumpkin patch. Every fall we spend a quite a bit of time out there helping to harvest and sell pumpkins, gourds, and indian corn. The kids are still at the age where they really enjoying helping. I love watching them pick out the "perfect" pumpkin for themselves after a long day of work."

Angela, Mom to three, Stay at Home Mom and Blogger

"We live in Bangkok now, where it is summer all year round, so we don't really get to participate in fall activities, but I remember as a kid always having so much fun playing in the leaves that had fallen out of the trees! We would rake them up and jump in them, scoop them up and make it rain leaves and make all sorts of crafts with them. I imagine if we had a season of falling leaves here those would be some of my favorite activities to do with my children!"

Brittany, Mom to two, Missionary

"Our fall family tradition is carving pumpkins. It started when I was a kid and it is something that we continue to do together with my parents, and my brother's family. This year we are adding a trip to the pumpkin patch!"

Sheila, Mom to one, CPA and Fitness Coach

"This is actually going to be our first fall which allows for real activities, last year he was just a couple of months old so apart from walks there were not really activities. So, I am excited for our first real fall :)! As a child I always really enjoyed going to the park, marching through the fallen colored dry leafs and collecting chestnuts so I think we will definitely give that a try."
