10 MAMAS TALK ABOUT THEIR PROUDEST MOMENTS

Hello October - hello new group of Mighty Mamas and hello Autumn - we love you all. Let's get this week started off right. Forget the fact that it's Monday and lets show ourselves some love. Mamas, we want to hear your proudest moments - and yes we all have them even if we feel like a mess most of the time...or all of the time. Take a breath, sip a little wine, channel your inner Beyonce and tell us about how awesome you are!

We asked our Mighty Mamas to share their thoughts and here is what they said.

WHAT THING ARE YOU THE MOST PROUD OF HAVING DONE AS A MOTHER?

"Becoming a mother has been such an amazing experience for me. So far, I am proudest of breastfeeding. I have had such a rough time breastfeeding my child. From thrush to mastitis, I was forced to pump and bottle feed. My pediatrician urged me not to, promising that I would quit in the first two weeks. I am proud to say that I have not! I am going on 5 months and I am still pumping with a huge freezer stash!"

- Brooke, Mom to one, Nurse and Stay at Home Mom

"Aside from actually creating two lives, it's watching my 4yo become a person I am proud of. He is still 4 and has his fair share of moments, but he's becoming someone who cares, is willing to be emotional, is happy and loves to laugh. I know that I am helping him become a good person and that makes me proud.'

- Sara, Mom to two, Writer and Educator

"Most recently, after being treated very unkindly myself, I started to really teach my kids the importance of being kind in an often unkind world. We have started making it a point to spread kindness where ever we go - one good deed, one smile, one hug at a time!

I have even given our group a name - The Kindness Kids. We now have Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter accounts to share our acts of kindness with the world."

- Angela, Mom to three, Stay at Home Mom and Blogger

"I think just giving birth to my children is something I am so proud of accomplishing. Like all moms (I think), I was so scared about the birthing process. I gave birth to both of my children naturally, and to be able to feel my body give birth to my child was pretty amazing (and painful! but I did it!)!"

- Brittany, Mom to two, Missionary

"Making myself a priority and setting a positive example for my son. After becoming a mom, I realized how easy it is to put everyone else's needs before my own. Days that I spend time working on me, I am a happier healthier wife and mom - someone who I am proud of and my family appreciates more."

- Sheila, Mom to one, CPA and Fitness Coach

"That despite working full time and having started my own company I can be a lot of time at home with my kid. By working from home a lot and organizing my work smarter I am able to be there a lot for my son."

- Tineke, Mom to one, Project Manager
