Welcome to Mighty Mamas, an ongoing series where mamas share their candid and raw thoughts on motherhood. Our intention is to create a supportive forum for sharing without judgment. Mamas are so mighty and we are using that strength to build a powerful group of wonderful women who believe in motherhood.
But first, let me introduce you to our next group of Mighty Mamas! These ladies will be with us for the next ten weeks and we couldn't be more excited to have such an awesome group of mamas! Here they are in all their glory and no particular order.
My name is Cathy and I am a 40 something, divorced mom of an amazing little boy from Ontario, Canada. My background is in the Finance/Admin field so blogging and writing are definitely something out of my normal comfort zone. Being a single parent is not the easiest thing in the world but I am hoping my blog will inspire others to see that you are much stronger than you think you are.
My name is Dee and I'm currently living in southern California with my husband and two boys. I'm trying to enjoy this mamahood journey of mine one tantrum at a time. Coffee is my bff, I love to collect/hoard books, and taking photos of my boys. I decided to start blogging as a way to cope with my PPD and provide reassurance (and laughs) for other Mamas that can relate.
Kristen is a wife and a stay at home mom to 3 kids (11, 8 & 3) and lives in the Kansas City Area. She spends her time raising a toddler from the driver’s seat of a mini-van and can frequently be found cheering at a soccer or softball game. Kristen couldn’t live without coffee, YA novels and sunshine!
I'm Michelle, a part time working mom and part time SAHM. My daughter is my world & gave me purpose in this life. But let's be honest, my life isn't perfect. My house is a mess 99% of the time, I'm usually in yoga pants & a top knot, and there are times that I need a moment to escape & hide, what mom doesn't, right?
My name is Steph. I am a mommy, wife, and blogger who is currently trying to figure out this whole parenting thing while chasing a kid and beagle around the house with a baby in my arms. I live in Whitby, Ontario with my handsome hubby, two adorable kids, and a sassy little beagle – none of whom let me sleep very much. I started blogging originally as a way to pass the nights with a colicky baby and it eventually, turned into a platform to share the thoughts I have as a momma, and as a way to share businesses and products that I love. For me, parenting is often a hilarious survival game…and it is always more incredible and full of love than I ever could have imagined.
Gloryanna is a teacher turned SAHM of her sweet little monster, Asher. One of the greatest things she taught, she stole from S.E. Hinton who said, "Stay gold, Ponyboy, stay gold." She hopes to live that truth by scribbling down her journey through momhood and wifehood. She hopes to encourage other mamas along the way with her faith and joy. You can read her encouraging words for moms and also catch snippets of her take on momhood.
Vivianna Adams is a free spirit, boy mom, life partner & adventurer. She is learning to trust her journey & maintain balance between real life, motherhood & pursuing her passions while hoping to inspire you to do the same! Vivianna brought her blended family together on a small pear orchard nestled between the mountains & lakes in Maine where they create, explore, learn & grow together. She writes about how she juggles everyday life while doing what makes her happy, overcoming detours & being "the crunchy friend."
I'm Annie, a first time momma, wife, and full time worker bee. I decided to start a blog after I had such a difficult time finding answers to questions I had about my baby, and to be a support system for other mommas! I write about pretty much everything, but I focus on Fitness, Family, Food, and Fun! I am excited to continue to learn and grow and meet other inspirational mommas!
Join us back here every Monday to hear all of the unique, raw and personal perspectives these ladies have on motherhood.
