According to the dictionary, inspiration is something that makes someone want to do something or that gives someone an idea about what to do or create : a force or influence that inspires someone. That is a pretty powerful definition, but then again inspiration is powerful. Inspiration can turn the ordinary to the extraordinary.

These guys certainly are inspired and singing to tell us all about it.

So how do we stay inspired in our daily lives so we are living an inspired life?

We asked our Mighty Mamas to share their thoughts and here is what they said.

"Believe it or not, other successful and happy women. "We rise by lifting others up." I feel like #WomenEmpoweringWomen is a movement of sorts and it's a train I am more than willing to ride. I feel great about helping others, I feel good when I see other women helping others and I feel best when other woman share the good in their lives because it inspires me to do the same."

Vivianna, Mom to one, Boss Mom

"My family inspires me everyday for so many reasons. My husband makes me want to be a better person, and reminds me of how much love can support you everyday. My parents and my sister have filled my entire life with such humour, love, and support, and I hope I'm making them proud as a mom. I hope that when my kids grow up, they look back on their childhood and feel as loved as I did."

Stephanie, Mom to two, Blogger and Social Worker

"My child is a major inspiration for me to do lots of things. I am learning to be a better cook so that I can teach her how to one day and so I can provide healthy meals for her. She teaches me to be a better person with teaching me patience. She inspires me to also reach out to people for advice and inspiration. I usually like to keep to myself but once I became a mother I realized we need to help to support each other because being a parent is the hardest job but also the most rewarding job in the entire world."

Michelle, Mom to one, Dental Hygienist

"Kind kids. I am so inspired to see young people going above and beyond to be kind to others."

Kristen, Mom to three, Stay at Home Mom and Blogger

"I am inspired by my mom and gran. I honestly feel like I am the strong woman I am today because of them. We have our problems as do all families, but I know that I would not be where I am today without them!! I am also inspired so much by all of the wonderful, creative mommas I have met lately! They are so great and do so many things that it makes me want to be more creative! I use the left side of my brain for my day job, so when I am blogging or trying new things, I love to see what other mommas are doing and see if I can do it too! I am not very artsy - so I am always so happy when something remotely crafty turns out well!"

Annie, Mom to one, Government Worker Bee

"Other than my children, the strong women in my life inspire me. My mother is and was a very hardworking woman that always did her best to balance being a mama and wife. My paternal grandmother was a strong presence in my life growing up. She is very independent and has a fierce love for her family which I’ve grown to have for my own family."

Dee, Mom to two, Mother/Student/Legal Industry

"Due to the fact that my son has to share his time between 2 homes, I am inspired to ensure that as tough as that is for him, I will make the best of the time we have together. Motherhood is tough and there are some amazing Moms out there that have shared their stories and I am inspired by them to keep a chin up and make like the best it can be."

Cathy, Mom to one, Finance/Administration

"My family! They are the reason for basically everything that I do. They inspire me to be a better mother, wife, and all around person. I want to set a good example for my kids, and I hope that through being a good person and having strong values and morals I can do that. My kids are also the source of my inspiration for much of my writings."

Cassie, Mom to two, Orthodontic Lab Technician/Blogger

"Other moms. And honestly, working moms. I am lucky to be able to be a stay-at-home mom and yes, it is challenging and hard and my guy can't even walk yet! BUT I couldn't imagine trying to do everything I do now and have a job outside of the home!!

I am always inspired by other moms who are honest and real, especially mom lifestyle bloggers who tell it like it is. They remind me to keep my writing true to myself, which in turn keeps me a stable mom!"

Gloryanna, Mom to one, Teacher turned Stay at Home Mother

"My children! Our family was formed through adoption. Each child has their own unique challenge but yet they are fighters. They don't let their disabilities get them down!"

Kathy, Mom to four, Veterinary Nurse
